Good News...

He did well in surgery this afternoon. The tissue is looking good and it looks like it is beginning to heal. There are still a few spots that they are watching. He will have another surgery on Fri. to evaluate what to do next. For the time being they will keep him in ICU to help manage the pain. He is uncomfortable but food is beginning to sound good to him. This is great because nothing has sounded good to eat for over a month. The bad news is that he cannot eat or drink anything right now.

    I am so thrilled that Nate has started to turn the corner. You are the best Nate and we love you and pray for you many times a day. We are leaving for England on Tuesday but can see your progress on your blog. Thanks to Edie for this blog and keeping us informed.
